Dr. Ivan Misner has suggested four key activities that result in overwhelming success for many BNI members worldwide. It is important to note that people who follow these suggestions tend to receive a much larger number of qualified referrals as a result of their efforts:
1) Love What you Do!
If you are passionate about your products then people will see this.
2) Commit to Excellence!
Be excellent in all of your endeavors. People tend to sense excellence and are attracted to it. This includes customer service and listening to what your sales team is asking you for. Dedicated members know that it takes more than 90- minutes a week to be excellent in BNI.
3) Practice, Practice, Practice!
Successful BNI Members actively practice networking each and every day by asking for referrals. Many people who have complained about not receiving enough referrals are not asking for them.
4) Practice and Live Givers Gain!
The words of Dr. Misner sum this up best, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. That is what Givers Gain is all about … showing people that you care and helping them to do well in their business and their life!”
Doing these exercises will ensure that your referral business starts to increase exponentially!
